The Grand Design

Book Review   by:DrSarbjitSingh     Original Author: STEPHEN HAWKING

Abstract: World’s best known scientist today, is the great thinker who is exploring beyond horizon to understand the creation of this universe and our existence. Many religious leaders, scientists, philosopher and other researchers continue to look for the answer to the question like how universe was created out of nothing, who we are and why we are here on this planet, and are there other planets with similar or better human life than ours. In his book Grand Design the author has given very encouraging information that he along with many other scientists are very closed to understand the working of this universe where millions of planets and stars are orbiting in a well synchronized manner and the life on these planets has been created by the miracle of God. One of the popular thought is that some many-many years ago, this universe was destroyed and there were darkness all around and there were chaotic conditions and in- conceivable happenings all over. At some stage, the God who cannot be seen but realized / felt created this universe and many others planets and galaxies, He also created water, soil and vegetation for the survivability of the life on various planets which includes human beings, animals, birds, reptiles, sea animals and many-many others species.

Reading through this book provides a peep into the grand design, which God only knows how; he created, for what purpose and how long this will exist. This book is recommended for all those who are involved with astronomy, metaphysics and every religious leader/preacher who is searching for the existence of God.
