In the African stories is typical the use of characters in form of animals, this characters can be the protagonist or the wise partners who always offer help. As in the occidental tales, the purpose of this stories is to leave a learning message about the valors that a person must have in order to give a useful person in society.

Mostly are destined to children, those are also a wonderful opportunity to identify the basics concepts in which are written, commonly all the stories of a country or culture share fundamental principles which are present in all their expressions including art,sculpture,painting,literature, among many others. All this subjects are useful in order to lern in a very complete way the culture of a region.

Usually the african stories share many aspects of its neighbors, as India, the hindu stories are alike somehow with some points of the african stories, offering the cultural exchange between them.

It also keep the structure of a fable with all its grammar structure, many of the stories in this book will remind your childhood even if you haven´t read these stories before. They are useful for children and adults and an original way to learn about different cultures
