satisfaction is a jewel

Book Review by: sony

Original Author: swaroopa
In a previous life, Buddha, whose real name was Siddhartha Gautama, was also known as Bodhisattva. In a previous life the
Bodhisattva had been born a lion. He lived in a large cave in the forest with a lioness and their two cubs.
Manoj, the younger son took over the hunting for wild boar, deer or buffalo.
An old jackal who loved horse meat, could not hunt large animals. The jackal flattered Manoj, and even against his father's warnings, they hunted together as friends.
One day, the jackal took Manoj to hunt for horse meat. His father knew there were no horses in the forest and was afraid. It was the King of Veranasi's horse. Manoj now liked horse meat as well and they went hunting often for horse.
The King put more guards on his horses. One day, as Manoj got to the stables he was shot with a poisoned arrow. The jackal did not wait to help and ran away. Manoj dragged himself back to the cave, but it was too late.
"We should be happy with what we have. We had plenty to eat; we had no need for horse meat. Now we have lost our son, we have nothing
