The rabbit and the cat

Book Review by: princessyingx

Original Author: Josephine
This abstract was translated from 兔子和猫
In the heart of the forest lived a
rabbit and a cat. The cat had a small house made of chocolate. On the
other
hand, the rabbit had a big house built of stones.Summer
has arrived and the cat''s house has melted due to the heat while the
rabbit''s stone house was still strong and sturdy. Thus, the cat went
to beg the rabbit to keep him for a night. However, the next
morning, the cat pointed to a stone, carved with his name and said:
"This is my house. You better leave now!"Sad and
depressed, the rabbit walked owards the river, crying at the same
time. Her wheeping woke the duck, horse and dog. Everyone was very
curious as to why the rabbit was not singing and dancing like before.
So they decided to clarify their doubts and went to ask the rabbit.
"How can I not be crying? That stone house was the fruit
of my labour but now, it''s occupied by the cat." The rabbit
replied sadly."Don''t panick. We''ll help you think of a
way."Therefore, everyone started thinking of a solution
and moved on to implement it.Firstly, the dog went to borrow
a shovel and quickly dug a tunnel leading to the center of the stone
house. Next, the duck brought a fan, blowing cold air  from the
entrance of the tunnel. Last but not least, the horse went
"awww..awww" at the outside of the house. The combined
efforts of the animals made the cat feel as if he is living in the
north pole."Aiyo, it''s cold like hell here. I can''t live
here anymore!" The cat cried miserably. Seconds later, the cat
ran our of the house in search of a warmer place.Upon seeing
this, everyone cheered and went into the stone house for a
celebration. Once again, the rabbit sang and danced happily.
