Krishna is simply an addictive flavour and a masterpiece of a rare kind from Osho.
In my mind, there was never
an iota of suspicion about Spiritual, Philosophical, Scientific, Economic and Political knowledge of
Baghwan Rajneesh. This book not only illustrates the above-mentioned facts; it also exhibits Rajneesh’s fabulous inventiveness. With one character namely ‘Krishna’, he could convey every possible needy message to this world.
Osho enlightens his followers with discourses on the noble character of Krishna scrutinizing through His birth, His religion, celebrating work, His dance, His discipline, His Devotion, nudity and the cosmic secrecy behind His flute. What one wonders is how one dares to reveal the boldest facts of life in a so-called conservative society of 1970. It also speaks volumes about the quality of following Baghwan had. It is also evident from the quality of doubts posted to the master.
The intricate concepts of action, atheism, being true self, Non-Attachment, rituals and asceticism are clarified by intelligent interpretations through stories, which could be clearly understood by even a layman. I must confess that I failed miserably trying to
unearth any flaws on this 841-page treasure.
What more, when some one reads Krishna, he or she falls in love with the Krishna as discovered by Bhagwan Rajneesh. The book is capable of such an impact that it can create so many modern day Krishnas’ who all can enjoy and lead a total life in the known world. Osho himself turn into Krishna making one wonder that even if Krishna Himself could be so clear conceptually about His actions.
Ah This! This book is a hot soup during winter and a cold juice in summer. It is a medicine for body, mind and soul. It just can bring about such a telling transformation in not ones mind only, but also their body. Highly recommended! More so if one wants to truly live.
