One Night @ the Call Centre

Article Review by: Viperworks

Original Author: Chetan Bhagat
This is the second book by the author of the famous book, Five Point Someone. This book unlike the first one is targeted
at a more specific target audience namely the working class at the Call Centres in India. The call centre population is a substancial number in India in the year 2006 and Chetan Bhagat has made has understand the life style of an employee working in these BPOs.
This book like the first one will find a liking among the people on whom this story is based. The book is a story about a tale of the lives of 6 people working in a call centre, their lives and how their work affects their lifestyles. It manages to make an in depth analysis of working class which stays up all night. The book also focuses on certain issues of human personality which are very well brought out.
Because of the success of the first book, readers might expect too much but this is a must read for all those people who work in Call Centres of the major Indian metros.
