This
book is a
spiritual odyssey in one sense, a spiritual journey into the physical manifestation through "another," and a record with notes of the wondrous experience of communion with wisdom sometimes "forgotten'' and sometimes not yet revealed to those of us on Earth, particularly those of us in physical incarnation presently.
This work is channelled from SETH (a discarnate entity) through Jane Roberts, and recorded by her husband, Robert Bretts, while she is in trance. The introduction gives a sketch of how these communications came about, how the material is revealed, recorded, transmitted, as well as their purpose/s, who their authors are, and why this is done, and done as it is. Jane Roberts goes into trance; Seth takes over and her husband, Robert, takes down what she says in his own particular version of shorthand. The material of this book was revealed in sessions 510-596, along with some material from various of Ms. Roberts ESP class sessions (with their dates given here).
The topics are covered in two sections concerning the nature of the soul, creation, experience, consciousness, and our potentials; the second section of the book tends to focus more one the "greater realities" of life after death, the deeper aspects of personality, self and Self (especially of multidimensional realities, personalities and consciousness, as well as various questions and answers.
This book is, in a sense, a sequel to THE SETH MATERIAL, an earlier book, where the authors introduce Seth to the reader, and which records many of the earlier trance sessions. This book is dictated as a whole, in order, by topics as chosen by Seth himself. It is an extraordinary introduction to topics of higher consciousness, yet it is nevexhausted. Each time one reads it, there is more to discover and understand, new perspectives to gain and/ or maintain on larger stages. It is a fascinating book, nonpareil in modern literature, and a treat and a trip for the individual spirit which one will never forget.
