The famous writer, Jeffrey Archer was sent to Belmarsh jail for perjury on Thursday 19th 2001. The news spread like a wild fire. Meantime, his mother passed away. His wife and his children worked for his appeal. In prison, he decided to keep a diary about the daily happenings in the prison. He talked with his inmates and became their friends. They all shared their stories to him. Even though he was famous, he had no privileges. But he was made to conduct creative writing session for the prisoners who were interested.
