Grisham works on movies did not do justice with what''s in the books- his writings are more lively when read than turned into moving pictures. I guess it is because grisham is a better writer than movie script writers-- and why are they changing plots? I highly recommend to those who have watched grisham movies to read its book instead to have a full grasp and better appreciation..
If you have watched The Client, your respond will be: a.. okey...; while if you read it in book, you would not want it to end. Its still because of grisham magic- realistic description of plots, lively lines, very genius. The Client is a story of a young boy who saw and meddle with someone committing suicide-- partly for always watching crime stories on TV- and later found out that with it he became involved with the biggest murder case in the country.
I rate this book a perfect 10. not because i''m a grisham fan, but The Client really deserves it.
