Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Book Review   by:mikeyleeray     Original Author: J.K. Rowling
ª

Harry is back at four Privet Drive with the Dursleys, anxious to
return to Hogwarts to begin his fifth year and desperate for any news
about the return of his nemesis, Lord Voldemort. Ron and Hermione, his
best friends at Hogwarts, have not written all summer and he is
desperate to hear from the magical world. But for Harry Potter the end
to his summer will be more dramatic than he ever could''ve guessed as
the worlds of magic and muggle collide. Even before his return to
school, Harry will have to defend himself against the Ministry of Magic
itself.

Staying at twelve Grimmauld Place, the home of Sirius Black''s family
and now headquarters for the Order of the Phoenix, Harry receives shock
after shock as Percy Weasley firstly abandons his family for the
apparent safety of his job at the Ministry of Magic and secondly as
Hermione and Ron not Harry are made prefects at Hogwarts. Fred and
George Weasley are going about opening the joke shop that, thanks to
Harry''s Triwizard winnings, they can now afford. This however is the
least of concerns for the members of the Order of the Phoenix as they
discuss Lord Voldemort''s return.

Returning to Hogwarts, Harry will face off against the Ministry in the
place he least expected to and perhaps even against a foe more deadly
than Voldemort himself. For his scar is burning again and Harry is
seeing things that he know he shouldn''t. A new Defence Against the Dark
Arts teacher again hits Hogwarts however with no intention of giving
students the skills they need to defend themselves, Harry will have to
take matters into his own hands. But will Hermione''s wits, Harry''s
courage and Ron''s loyalty be enough to save him this year as he faces
it all?
