The novel is challenging its reader to cure the deeps wounds
of the Filipino
society: the broad feudalism in rural areas. The author, rooted the
cause of the farmer’s poverty and their hardships in the hands of the
land lords. He also gave the main character a realistic way of life- a
man that does not follow the "flow of life" rather; he follows his
strong principles an his
strong will to help others despite the
hardships that he himself is facing. After many, many years, the novel
Maganda Pa Ang Daigdig written by Lazaro
Francisco, will always be a
living picture of a wound that
until now is a wound that still could
not be cured.
