Armageddon in Retrospect

Book Review   by:FionaByers     Original Author: Kurt Vonnegut
ª

The late Kurt Vonnegut was an excellent write. This collection of short stories is no exception. The stories seem to be based on the author's experience during and after the second world war. However he doesn't take sides. He shows the faults of both sides. He mostly speaks of being a prisoner of war.

Like many people, Kurt Vonnegut seems to have felt that war is hell. The stories mostly deal with relationships. For instance in a few stories, someone hoards something like cigarettes.
Any writing by Vonnegut is very good.
