The Da Vinci Code is a book that will be read in two days, it is guaranteed that you will not stop until you have come to the end. Each chapter ends in a cliff hanger and not only that, but the chapters are so small that you always think “yeah, I’ve got time for one more”. Having said that, I add that this book is most certainly not a master piece, and it is most certainly not, as I have often heard, an intellectual book! It is, however, a very cleverly constructed story full of ingredients sure to please the masses: The “bad” Opus Dei, Roman Catholic people, lost Scriptures, Jesus with a sex life, and the promise of the disclosure of a very well kept secret: The Holy Grail.
