The Admiral’s Daughter has many characters inside. In this novel the main characters is Victoria she is a beautiful women, tall, blue eyes, kind, patient, has firm attitude. The others Characteers is Zoya, Victoris’s mother; She is beautiful actress, kind, patient, full of love. Next is Jakson Tate, Victoria’s father; he is tall, has blue eyes, gentleman, has firm attitude. Forth is Irina Kirk; she is brave woman, kind, a philanthropist. Henry Gris, a journalist, a hard worker. Colonel Lihachov, a otoriter person. Alexandra, a full of love woman and kind.

In this novel there are many interesting story but the interesting one is when Victoria briefly take a risk to met her father (that already desperate for years). She doing anything to get information about her father through her friends, and finally met Henry who help Victoria to met her father in America. Why I like this part because at the time if she was known by the government she will be sent to Vladimir, a truculent prison for a long time. She will get torturing from the guide and a bit food and drink, just like her mother.

The part that confusing me is when Zoya refuse to go to America to meet Jackson, even he is dying. I thought Zoya will go to America to met Jackson because she is very miss Jackson for a long time and life as a single parent.

When Zoya in Vladimir, she was forced to confess the crime that she did not do; she is punished about 25 years. This is part that I dislike. How could the inspector force someone to confess something that they did not do. I think if the inspector more wisely just ask and come with the evidence, did not force ; it will be better.

I have same experience like Victoria when she is in kindergarten try to take attention from the teacher with hurting herself. When I was in kindergarten I try to take attention from the teacher with pretending got stomachache. Children always doing something to get what they want in their way.

Victoria came to America without Zoya met with Jackson, but at the time he has already married with another woman there; this part I would change with Victoria and Zoya went to America then met with Jackson that already life in suffering without Zoya. They met together and happy ever after.

This novel told about love that forbidden because of the government rules. Zoya, a Russian loves Jackson who Admiral of America, an American . In Russia at the time have the rule that their citizen cannot falling in love with people outside of Russian. the subject is separated and the citizen that is Zoya as a Russian got punishment.

When I read this novel I really felt sad with the Victoria’s stories in child and happy when she became an actress. I am scare stiff when read the Zoya’s story in Vladimir. This novel made the reader did not want to stop read, because the story is very dynamic. I like this novel.
