The Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever tell about Greg who was so scared of doing thing, this happen because his mom get him a doll named "Santa Scout", her mom said that if Greg do bad thing, "Santa Scout" will report it to the Santa Claus. And if he got bad mark, he won't got a great present for the Christmas.
Then, a blizzard comes, the roads are all closed so Dad is unable to come home, so he stayed at hotel. The basement started to flooded and the family start to ran out of food. Unfortunately, the power goes out, too. After a while, Rowley come over and bring some Christmas cookies. Greg ask Rowley if their house power goes out too. What did he say? The power never goes out! And then Greg checked their circuit breaker and sees all the power turned off except Manny's room. Manny admit that he was doing it, but he said it because everyone never taught him to tie his shoelaces.
At the end, Dad come home and bring foods, what makes them really happy.
