all our goals and to be happy. Then,
life intervenes, tragedies occur, and we get derailed somehow. This was the life of Van Tolliver. He had big
dreams. Both he and his wife were focused on achieving their dreams and building their respective careers, often at the expense of each other and their marriage. Van thought he had plenty of time to repair the problems in the relationship. That is, until he walked in on his wife with another man. Van’s life fell apart. He quit his job, moved back to his home town, and started working at his brother’s liquor store. He gave up on love, on life, on himself.
