The lost soon. The fight of a child for love and acknowledgment

Book Review by: roni_you

Original Author: Dave Pelzer
The book the lost son. The fight of a child for love and acknowledgment
of Dave Pelzer is a continuation of the auto+biographic
novel you
called me “it”. To survive the courage of a child. Dave is taken away
as a 12-jähriger boy owing to the intervention of the teachers of his
nut/ mother, that abuses him mentally and physically. This release
actually is however no solution of all problems of the boy. Dave
constantly changes the care family, for different reasons. The whole
time he is cared for Mrs. Gold by a social female worker, him
particularly before and during the court process against his nut/mother
is supported. During the negotiation the boy must decide whether he
again with his nut/mother to live or into the Obhut of the state will
hand over would like. The decision is not easy for it, because it fears
the revenge of the nut/mother, if it should decide for the latter.
Fortunately the court decides that the nut/mother loses now her parents
rights and the boy is to remain at a care family. Dave moves from
family to family, until he is finally accepted by the Turnboughs. Owing
to them he becomes acquainted with love, affection and acknowledgment.
This is however not yet the end of the difficulties. The boy must learn
in a normal society to live, its memories master, its eternal fear
defeat and begin to actually believe as humans and recognize its value.
Every beginning is heavy. The boy recruits acknowledgment of his
schoolmates, by stealing sweets and toy from the shops for it. But it
is also punished. The stay in the Jugendhaft changes it. It becomes
more careful in the contacts with the of the same age ones and worries
themselves more around its future. It learns true friendship to know
and discovers its preference for airplanes, which its later life will
affect. We find the continuation Daves history in a man named Dave. A
history of triumph and assigning, the last part of the Trilogie.
