The Little Prince recalls many simple truths that us, the adults have forgotten. Through the
eyes of a
child, the Little Prince, the adults are reminded to see things from the
view of being a child, which is where lies all the
fundamental ideas of being a human.
The story starts with the
author met the Prince while being stranded in the desert. He was asked to draw a sheep but the Prince claimed that the drawing is a boa with an elephant inside. It seems to be funny but that is really something we have forgotten in how we see life when we are young like the Prince.
The Prince visited other asteroids and found a few adults who are in certain foolish ways that significantly relate to certain human kind.
The Prince also visited the earth. He met a snake that cleverly said to send him home but by mean of killing him. He tamed a fox and the brief relationship with the fox has shown the human
love in it.
A lovely story with elements of children’s fantasy and human’s philosophy. Children read this book as merely a story. Adults read between the lines.
