Well the
story begins with the conversation of the author in a train compartment and a lady who comments on his last
book "Five
Point Someone". They engage in a conversation and come to such a point where the lady promises the author to tell a story only if he makes it his next book. So the story begins with the protagonist~Shyam who works in a call
center with some other five people in a call center. The others are Esha, Radhika, Vroom, Priyanka and Military Uncle. Shyam is
troubled by his break-up with his girlfriend Priyanka. Priyanka on the other hand is troubled by her mother because of their generation gap. Vroom has an infatuation towards Esha. Esha wants to become a model. Radhika is married and has to take care of her in-laws as well as do work in the office. Military Uncleis broken up with his son for misunderstanding. The story happens in one single
night in which all the characters think about the
life and the problems they face in their daily life. The story takes U-turn when they get a phone call from God and that changes their life...This is the second book from the award-winning writer Chetan Bhagat.
