Sour grapes

Book Review by: dganu

Original Author: Pierre-Henri Simon
This is a novel about father son conflict. The “new wave is” is not just a slogan, for in actual fact, the misunderstanding
between father and son has existed from the beginning of time. When a serious crisis questions the sense of existence, this misunderstanding turns into rancour and parents and children turn against each other and tear each other down. This is what the author shares with us. Gilbert d’Aurignac, a diplomat and a humanist of the old school of thought, and his son Denis, a young and ardent revolutionary opposes each other in a very violent manner. Irene, also young and pretty, is part of this conflict to which she is a stranger. She is the moral bet and ends up a victim of this. These tear-downs will not remain barren if they have the same continuity of love and the same thirst for the absolute. Pierre-Henri Simon gives a constant attention to all those this that appeal to peoples of our day.
