Tietam Brown was the first novel written by former pro wrestler Mick Foley. He had written two autobiographies and has written
more since this book, but I believe this his best original work. Tietam Brown is a man that no one would want to be like. No one would really want to know him. He too is a former wrestler, now turned to a womanizing alcoholic. When his son Andy comes to live with him, Tietam does his best to raise Andy to be a man. This doesn't always happen in the nicest of ways, but Andy discovers a lot of things from the past that speak volumes about the man he soon calls dad. During the strange upbringing with his father, Andy finds love, loses love, and finds love again. What Andy discovers is that there is a lot more to Tietam Brown than he ever could have imagined. This is not a soft book, but it does find its way into your heart.
