" The castle of crystal " of Jeannete Walls is the secret of an incredible and exciting life that, after many years,
is revealed in the shape of novel. His(her,your) authoress counts(tells) his(her,your) own(proper) experience as member of a family where the years were coming and were falling asleep in the open air(outdoors) in the desert, coming to schools of people(village) for one week, living through a nomadism, sometimes magically and sometimes cruelly, that for the one who writes is not any more than the faithful statement of what it was his(her,your) infancy and youth. His(her,your) father, Rex, is charismatic and transmits to his(her,your) children the passion for the knowledge and the life, but also he is a destructive drunkard with the one that turns out to be impossible to coexist. The mother is a painter who would hate to have a normal, monotonous life, which provokes the carelessness of his(her,your) cuatros children, whom it(he,she) sees partly as an impediment to develop his(her,your) project of life. The children will not have any more remedy that to learn to live for yes same, helping itself(himself,herself) mutually, until finally they manage to flee, leaving to New York, managing to leave behind one without end(purpose) of sometimes magic and sometimes terrible situations.
