experience when 34-years-old after her divorce from her husband. For days he was saddened and disappointed by his divorce and his failure to develop new relationships with other men, Gilbert took the decision to travel to various countries in search of spiritual experience and the hope of finding a new love.
Three countries that had visited Gilbert, Italy, India, and
Indonesia. In Italy, she spent four months there, then proceed to India for four months in search of spiritual peace and the end in Indonesia where he finally found love again after years of living on the island of Bali .
