Madame Bovary

Book Review by: SM THOMPSON

Original Author: Flaubert
Maureen Freely the translator of the Turkish Nobel Laureate winner of Literature Prize is evocative and quietly determined
to bring her amore, her hero writer into the eyes of everyone in the World of Literature that is according to the New York Times blogged via Turkish Digest.  Passion resolutions I feel confident in this review!
They slap happy the heading of this review with the line   "The Lolita of the Bosphorus" and that will grab your attention surely if nothing else does and the book Museum of Innocence has 80 plus characters and apparently its creator and writer Orhan Pamuk likes to double as the characters .. it might be hard work but the characters range from shop girls to whatever the author intends they should.  Pathos is implies and climax is there in the offing marvellously translated by Maureen Freely courtesy of the New York Times .. nice work  with a smattering of Flaubert thrown in for good measure so much so that for a moment I thought I was back at University dare I say it .. teaching literature all day ..... thansks Turkish Digest!
