... I actually got picked ......... it makes news to me but just a moment or two ago I was discussing with the African Priest here in
Southampton the pros and cons of our local University and I was very distressed that I still was not working there even though I have worked and taught at Southampton University during the spell of my 20 years full time teaching in England known as The UK Mainland.
So it was good news when I arrived back from town in the Southampton University Newsletter .and the New Transport Manager is featured on page one on the frontpage and doesnt he look smart ... but in competiton with the Transport Manager is
a Welcome to everyone article . writer/Matt Martin whose aim is to include us here around the corner from the University of Southampton in his Community ... nice welcome article . thanks Matt!
Dispite my complains to the Black Father I found that the facilities are now available to "we" neighbours and they include use of the University Library/Hartley Library and that suits me down to the ground! Plus ... Banks, PostOffices and Sports facilities . plus Shine Hairdressing .. wonder where the drop in Centre is so I can teach for 2 hours a week is situated ........ still that's in the next issue of this sparkling newsletter ... thanks for the stuff .. nice work at the University of Southampton and The
