Birds and Bees

Book Review by: JustinLennonHoffman

Original Author: Justin Hoffman
This ten minute play was written for a 24-hour play festival. It is a quick witted fast moving journey into a woman's mind.
That's right! the play takes place in someone's mind. The main character, Amanda, has become serious with her boyfriend. She now seeks independence and acceptance from her friends. Of course, the struggle is with herself not truly with her friends. Her dream friends, Mary and Sara, venture in her mind to find her. They prove successful, but that is just what Amanda wanted. She realizes she has control, this is her mind after all, which is leads to he demise of Sara and Mary.If you're lucky, this play will come to a theatre near you.

this abstract looked like a fairy tale, very sensitive and felt they were princess bees flying around, buzzing the secret of love to Amanda. Amanda remains confused and innocent.
