Free as a bird

Book Review by: carolann Brunoe

Original Authors: Etienne Gressin; traduit par carolann Brunoe
Free as a bird
Like a bird spreading it's wings, I walk in the forest to observe nature's dignity
that mankind, the most noble of animals has not preserved. My soul is my guide to the center of the cathedral of trees inwhich is given a majestic recital of which the musical impulses of different birds form an authentic initiation to joy. It indicates the path to liberty and life's freeness. Yes, my liberty lives within my soul and my soul cannot be invested because it is immaterial. My soul, you can never destroy it because the Creator watches over it day and night Surely, you can despise me, destroy me with slavery, torture me and kill me but even in death, my soul will fly away towards the Heavenly Kingdom like a bird immigrating to a new Land.
