Alma de Pássaro

Book Review by: anitasoares

Bird's soul «Specially today I would like to be a bird. And fly to you, and whisper in your ear how much I love you,
how much I want you next to me. To leave you a birthday kiss and fly away again... I don't know if you would get it, but it doesn't matter. Before you could say no, I would be far away already. My kiss could not be returned. you would have to keep it, accept it and then if you still wanted, you could give it to someone. But I'm not a bird, and I know you don't want me next to you, I know you don't want my love either. So you shouldn't want my kiss, even if it is a birthday kiss. This way, I send you all my wishes by thought, as it takes us where we want to go. Maybe this way they get next to you. I wish you have everything you need to be happy. I wish you have everything you want and wish. I wish someone might love you as I do. I wish someone might make you happy as I would want to make you. And I wish above all things that the time could go back. And that you could love me once again, as you did one day. And feel your body next to mine. And feel your breath next to mine. And as a last wish in this day which is yours, I want desperately your lips next to mine whispering: I love you.
