life in Africa I ask? When in other parts of the world, the task is light. Why is life in Nigeria so tight, I quiz? When in Europe, living is simply so pleasurable. What is in Lagos, each time I try? When in America, result seems to come like files. However, I tell you oh Lagos; tamed you will be. I promised you oh Nigeria, you will be conquered, I swear to you oh Africa, you will be dominated, Not even Kilimanjaro will
dare to stop me, Nor the deep waters of the Nile damped me. The stretches of the Sahara will not discourage me, Neither will the jungles of the Sahel trample upon me. No matter what comes, I will always pray, In
addition, every insecurity will be put at bay, The sun will shine on me with its rays, As I promise to give my best each passing
day, I will do more even without an added pay In addition, will encourage others through what I
say . I will pay heed not to go astray, In addition, pessimism, I will constantly slay, With GOD rest will come each time I lay In addition, productivity on my work will come my way. Even if Africa can’t be like America in a single day, In addition, Nigeria cannot be like New York even after I pray, If Lagos can’t be like London
despite what I say Yet my life will look like jay jays Who triumphs despite his team’s dismay? Now instead of clay, he eats from silver trays.
