Is it raining outside?
For I can hear tears
Dropping on my window
Making it’s glass wet with blood.
I can
hear rain.
I can feel the pain of these clouds
Which are letting go
Off their own tears
I know it’s hard
I know it ain’t fine
To depart with pain is so painful
To let go of the light is so dark.
Is it not raining inside?
Drenched in tears is that water
That drop splashes on my lower lash
Journeys down my lips and becomes a prayer
A prayer holding two names in its palm
One mine
The other yours.
Is it raining inside out?
I can hear my prayers weeping
Till every dream sighs
All wishes resign.
