Have you ever had a best
friend that was always there for you? If you have you should read this poem written by Janet S.
Wong called “Ask a Friend”. It’s all about keeping your
friends closer and your best friends closer!!!! I’ve had a best friend
named Jonathan Shortnacy who helped me get through the 10th grade. But unfortunately he moved away in the same city, but far away area from where I live . But he was like the brother I never had !!!! I also have another best friend named Darrel who also helped me get through the 10th. Grade as well. I think he still lives near me on a street off of mine called Marks. I also had a third best friend named Latre York who always sat next to me in my math class and sometimes he would help me with my math when ever I got stuck and by the way Latre York is a African American guy. And last but not least I also had another close friend named Keng Vue he is an Asian guy but his Asian Origin is unknown at this time. I hope to see them again someday who knows I might just bump into them in the near future. But anyway this poem really helps me to get over the fact that some of my friends may have moved away but there spirit of friendship still lives inside of me!!!! If you had a similar situation like this happen to you you’ve gotta read this must read poem because its so inspiring to the soul!!!! I would recommend this poem for anybody who has had a situation that’s similar to mine whose had a heart break of friendship especially in H.i.g.h. School or even out in the real world!!!!
