Haze….
Amidst
happiness when I sit…
I see it coming from a distance….
I flounder to muster my joy
But it shatters it in an instance…
Its approaching I can feel….
And I want to thrash it away…
I glance up wishing it’d go…
Curled up in my bed I stay…
But its right here standing
Glaring at me with strength
I look around to find solace
But everyone turns away….
It will plunder me I know
And I again want to stand ….
It pushes me over….
And now, it takes a stand.
The battle has come to a standstill…
As it finally rules me now….
I keep mum as it asks me to…
Watching the world with an empty vision
I lag behind, I can’t match my pace
Happiness has left me to walk alone
I drop down with a faceless mask
Disappearing in the disparaging
haze…
