Writing a review of a poem is not a job to be sneezed at but to be encouraged in most of us least of all if we are in fact ... the poet .. in a Collection title/Rhythms of Life published in London by

United Press Co Ltd.

The scheme of the poem is ... dare I say it .. freeverse .. though this form of poetry has long since been locked in my briefcase never to venture forth into the light of day rather as a forgotten dream of a state where I write and jot it down but leave it to the paperwork job which is my day job.

However,  the first line

/Put it in a trunk/ is suggestive of that knowledge of locking up something one treasures on earth

and it links with the sense of the presence of furry creatures running about the place or in /the house/ those dreadful mice that we all love to hate!

So they are hiding .. the mice .. no sign of them about the place .. so all is well at the moment.

The view of a metaphorical introduction to /coming out/with something in the cupboard one has to mention .. in the case of the poem  ... its a reference to home owning home ownership and private enterprise ....  and everything of course is a /secret/ which the line

/naming no names/indicates ...  a wonderfully rhythmic poem bitter sweet and just right for best selling in London to a new audience!  Great poems by great poets .. keep on writing and working ..
