John Keats survives as the archetypal Romantic poet who suffered a tragic and early death. His work has proven durable across
the ages and few would dispute his right to be regarded as the foremost of English poets. This edition of his poetry is revised and contains all the poems and plays known to have been written by this great poet. Additionally, included are two poems and a fragment of a play that are of dubious attribution. Estensive notes increase the readers understanding of the poet and his times.
The editors of this edition have also included long extracts from the poet's letters, a dictionary of classical names, Keats's annotations to Paradise Lost, and his review of Edund Kean's acting.
