A Mother's Sacrifice Lives for the Baby

After undergoing several months of pregnancy, Stacie who choose to be single mother was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. Cancer was the cause frequent headaches and body like vibrating.

The doctor advised her to undergo chemotherapy. But he refused for fear of disturbing the health of the baby. He knows the risk is great for him but it must be lived. In a short message to his sister, painted when he understands that risk. "I wish I could live long. If something happened to me, you take this baby," she told Ray Phillips, the elder brother.

Last August Stacie suddenly fainted due to the influence of cancer. Simultaneously with the baby's heart rate go down. Stacie then stop the heart even for an hour. Faced with the difficult situation that the doctors finally released the baby, though still 10 weeks prematurely.

Infants who later was named Dottie Mae was taken to the incubation chamber in a separate building. A nun who knew Stacie struggle to have children to feel pity. He felt Stacie will never see her baby. Therefore, when Stacie woke up he took Dottie Mae to her side to see her baby, perhaps for the first and last time.

Stacie's brother, Ray Phillips, witnessed the sad event. Stacie see her son so happy even though he was helpless. He touched her arm. "I felt something like this might be the most beautiful thing in my life. I do not think will ever again see a beautiful thing," said Ray mimicked his brother.

Stacie finally died three days later. His struggle to have children even though he did succeed he should lose his life. Dottie itself can grow up healthily in the hands of Ray Phillips and his wife Jennifer, who already had six children.
