Hear My Plea!

Book Review by: Wade Allan Robinson

Original Author: Wade Allan Robinson
God, you've heard my plea many times before,
If you would just grant my plea, I won't bother you any more,
Feelings
of agony and despair smother me as I lie hear,
The thoughts I have are of death and those I do not fear,
God, I plea that you take my life tonight,
Everything and everyone I care fore always slip from my reach,
No matter how hard I try nothing works out right,
I gave my reasons and I pray that this is my last and final speech,
I pray that I may die so that someone else may succeed,
So that someone else may have my food and possibly my dreams as well,
Just maybe this person will not fail and will succeed,
If I die I know that I'll be going to a place called hell,
As the crimson fluid runs down my arms and the droplets stain the floor,
My only thought is I won't feel the pain any more,
As I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the knife runs good and deep,
The devil I give my soul to keep,
And I pray no one will weep,
I close my eyes as I lay in the crimson sea,
God I pray please hear my plea,
For every person that dies,
There is a new born that cries,
So why is there sadness in your eyes,
Now I no longer hear the cries,
It is a bright and sunny day,
Too bad I can't go out and play,
At least the crimson stain will dry today,
I lost the game so my life I pay,
As I prayed the knife ran good and deep,
The devil took my soul to keep,
And forever more, I will lie hear and sleep,
As my body lies in the dry crimson sea,
I thank-you God for you answered my plea.
