Banner Year

Book Review   by:Jesskah     Original Author: Betty Cavanna
ª

Banner Year is a wonderful story written by Betty Cavanna. This story is set in Martha’s Vineyard and centers around an average teenage girl who becomes torn between the horse she cares so deeply about and the new boy in town.

After becoming caught in the rain, she finds herself taking a lift home with a boy she doesn’t even know. With his white hair and stunning out of place clothes, he looks like private school material. Instead, he is going to the school in the Vineyard and along with it he has put himself in a situation between a girl and the bond with a certain horse.

Though she doesn’t see the love in the boys eyes, nor does she realize she has become in love with him as well. She ignores his subtle hints and focuses on only one thing. Banner on the other hand finds himself, not only tangled up in a big mess, but also finds a special bond with everyone in his life.

This book is a wonderful book for lovers of horses and also fans for a sweet light romantic story. It holds a little bit of everything for everyone. You can’t go wrong with such a classic story. This will go good with any collection and will last for years to come. It will never grow old as you read it and even your kids will enjoy this magnificent story. Enjoy the words of Betty and her great story and enjoy the great romance between a young couple. Even the faint of heart will enjoy this collectors item. So dig into your pockets and buy this amazing book.
