Eva Sonneborn is about to take the trip of a lifetime. She, her sister Sharon, and friends Eileen Willock and Laurence Hawthorn
set their sights on a ghost hunting trip to Scotland. The friends find much more than a few ghosts or haunted houses, they find romance, new
friendships,
adventure, and a lot of trouble. Tourist Attraction is a coming of age story of the friends’ last great adventure before adulthood. All of the characters find themselves simultaneously at a transitional point in their lives and this vacation serves as a lull in life so that each can figure out exactly what they want out of life. Like any such trip, there is a fling or two and some redefinitions of old friendships. The ghost hunting concept is more of a sidebar to the actual action, the main focus of the story is about young romantic relations and friendships.
