This book SUCKS! No, this is not a summary, I don''t care if this gets views. If you have a choice in the matter,
please, put the book down... better yet put the book in a fire, and walk away. Written in a disgustingly confusing literary fassion, The Scarlet Letter is just plain a bad book. Nathaniel Hawthorn laces his book with so much symbolism, that you start getting paranoid about what could possibly be a symbol (especially if you have to read it for a class, god forbid). I''m actually surprised that the "
symbols" are called symbols at all, there are so many that they lose meaning. Ask virtually anyone who''s read this book, i''m sure they hate it with a great passion. Even my old English teacher hated this book, is that perhaps a sign? Please, before you get hurt by this
disgusting book, walk away.
