The story of two sisters who appear to have ideal love lives. Martha has the perfect home and family, leading a very sedate
life-style, until her husband leaves her. Eliza rents a
one-bedroom flat with Greg, where they seem perfectly happy making love and music, until
she suddenly decides to leave him.
The sisters are united by separation but gradually Martha starts to enjoy the single life again
and wants fun and great sex, whereas Eliza just wants to settle down with the ideal man.
Set over a period of eight months this is the story of the two sisters enjoying being in "the
other woman''''s shoes". Although there is no great depth to the book it is witty and fun to read.
I read it over the Christmas holidays with a house full of guests and found it very easy to pick
up and put down.
