Linghu Chong is the head student of Mt Hua's Sword Sect lead by his Master Yue Buqun and his wife. Although he loves his Master Yue like a father, their relationship is strained because of their conflicting personality, his Master Yue is always reserved and is known as the "Gentleman Sword" while Chong is impulsive and very fond of drinking and gambling.
