This is the third novel by the author who stays in Milton Keynes and
like its predecessors, is wacky as all hell let loose! I mean just the
titles draw you in - Sari & Sins,  Chapatti or Chips and so on!Here
is a woman of Indian origin, born and brought up abroad and writing
about  women just like her. The ABCD -  American born confused desi!
Her writing style is witty and her funny bone is on display every
second paragraph at least! This is the story of Marina, whose
Indian parents have let her be as Brit as she wishes to be...no
traditions, no filmy drama and no emotional blackmail! She can even
choose her own husband - gora - a foreigner is also acceptable! Imagine! So
what is the problem you ask? In the words of Marina - "God! Freedom can
be so restricting!" Finding a rich, handsome man to marry is not
proving to be a cake-walk! That is until she sets her eyes and heart on
Thomas harding -  billionaire hotelier! He doesn''''t know it yet, but he
is about to be hit by a personal and tempting tornado! And even his
fiancé is not going to be able to save him from a woman who is Indian
at heart - enough at least to fight tooth and nail for her man!The
book is a 480 page, hilarious journey of how this loud, brown woman
from the wrong side of the tracks (continent?) gets her prince - Tall
dark and handsome never looked so good! Her two hearts  - the Eastern
and the Western - are flooded with love for one man!Nisha has
her heart in the right place and her wit and funny bone too. Maybe she
can tone down the nuances of derision that come through sometimes when
she is writing about some Indian customs and traditions (outdated and
no-longer-in-practice as some might be!)All in all, a good chick-flip!PS: I have bought all her books! Let me know if you want to know which is my personal favorite!
