Is he mature enough?
If... he keeps his promises. He knows how to give. He seeks advice from others. He accepts criticism
and admits his mistakes. He gives credit to whoever deserves it. He knows how to control his temper. He acts responsibly and kindly toward others. He knows how to be a peacemaker. He knows how to compliment others. He is tolerant of other people's imperfections. He knows the difference between love and infatuation. He doesn't insist on having sex if you're not ready for it. Maturity also involves self-discipline, self-reliance, and independence. A man who has these qualities will most likely be a considerate person who loves and respects others, and is therefore worthy of your respect and love.
Maturity and
responsibility are important in sex. If a man is not sexually responsible, he or his partner may suffer such consequences as unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. However, sexual responsibility should be expected not only from men but also from women. A
relationship has a greater chance of succeeding if it is built on responsibility and maturity.
