The Singhania’s and the Agarwal’s are neighbors living in Manchester, U.K. They have been good friends, through thick and thin. Mr. Singhani's has a 23-yea old son named Bhavik, while Agarwal’s have a beautiful 20-year old daughter named Rachna. Bhavik is studying Management while Rachna is doing B.A. (Honors) in History. Mr. Singhania admires Rachna a lot and proposes Mr. Agarwal to get her married to his son. He readily accepts the proposal. They make their proposals meet regularly and decide if they are compatible for life. Both of them agree to marriage after some frequent interactions. Bhavik and Rachna are formally engaged. Love slowly embraces both of them.
One weekend the Singhania’s and the Agarwal’s go out for a picnic on the outskirts. Everyone was so happy but fate became unfortunate for them. A hurricane came and destroyed large expanse of lands and the picnic spot where they all were enjoying themselves. Bhavna and Rachna are killed leaving their parents lonely and mourning. Unfortunately their love remains unfulfilled.
Somewhere in Mumbai (India) after 2 decades,
Nikita is a journalist working in news daily and Romi is the financial adviser in a bank. One day on their way home from office both come across one another when rains flooded the entire city. Trains, local buses, autos and taxis were halted. People got stuck on roads and bylanes being unable to reach their homes. Phones stopped working. Nikita is innocent but stubborn. She finds herself helpless and agitated. Romi on the other hand is very kind and helpful. He helps everyone who was in trouble and need. Nikita finds him interesting. Romi remembers his past life and recognizes Nikita as Rachna. But Nikita is ignorant. Rains recede and both get busy in their daily lives. Romi calls Nikita trying to help her remember her past. They start meeting regularly and Nikita is slowly changing for her good. She starts liking Romi.
An accident one day Nikita is hit on her head and realizes that Romi is none another than Bhavik. They inform their parents and are united in marriage.
Their unaccomplished love is fulfilled. Nature brings them together after its justice to the souls of Rachna and Bhavik, proving the fact that, ‘GOD is great’.
