The Golden Lord

Brant Claremont,the duke of stratchmen,was left with a heavy debt from his father who died when he and his brothers were  little boys.He was sent to a boarding schol in middlesex by his distant relative(guardian).Brant had no inclination towards letters,writing,reading etc.but he can speak well and memorise when others speak and he had special affinity towards numbers.He was agreat player of cards and earned very much money through it,but the whole lot was spent to pay father's debt and to protect Claremont Hall(family house)from ruin.Thus he earned nickname 'GOLDEN LORD'.But the headmaster who was not fond of Brant and his cleverness dismissed him from the school.Now he was free to do anything.
                  15 years later,one morning,Brant found ayoung lady unconsciously lying in his backyard.Now Brant had settled all the debt and was now in a good condition with business abroad and he even own some mines.brant decided to take her to his house and send a physician to attend her(the girl complained about pain in head and told she can't remember anything).There was Mr.Tway who is the seniormost servent of Brant and always helpful with paperworks of Brant's business deals.Mr.Tway start enquiry about the girl for the fact that the girl had a handkerchief in her hand labelled 'CORINTHIA.'
                             But the girl was faking lack of memory.She was actually JennyDell,daughter of Mr.Dell who was a drama artist.Her mother left them (her father, brother and herself) after she was born.since then she,Rob(her brother) and father had been living like nomads-wandering from place to place in fake identities and appearances betraying others to make money.Miss Corinthia was only a victim of their games.Her father is nomore now and Jenny and Rob continued operations together.Recently Rob(ladies were his wakness) met a widow  MaryHewitt and living pleasently (as a part of game Jenny and Rob sometimes lived seperately each with different roles to play and planned together when they meet at night) when JohnParker,a military man who formerly knew Mary Hewitt came to their life.Rob and John quarelled over the lady and Rob had to flee with his sister to the country that night.They took a chaise for escape but followed by Grenadier(JohnParker).Rob told Jenny to jump when the chaise slowdown and wait till he beat Grenadier and return.Jenny obeyed as she always did.This was how she got found by Brant when she fainted after jumped.
                        she was now living in the Duke's manor and she developed an attraction to the duke and viceversa.Their relationship grew that far that Duke told all about himself to her and she feels guilty for not telling the truth about her.Rob found her and and they met reguarly for discussions and she denies his advice to leave Brant.Tway reached the house of MaryHewitt for enquiry and let slip that there was a lady in Duke's manor.Mrs.Hewitt was very angry with with Rob and Jenny because she was defamed by that incident.She decided to punish them.She wrote letters warning Duke against the lady.Duke decided to take Jenny with him to London where he had a business meeting.He had a Claremont house in London too.Their relationship now reached to bedroom.Jenny was identified by an old duke who was friend of Brant's father because of  Jenny's mother once being a famous actress.Brant after getting angry with oldman, decided to take her back to country where  his brothers would be arriving to the Hall for baptisation of brother's son(heir of Brant as duke) in the village church as Brant had offered. Brant decided to marry Jenny before brothers' arrival but Jenny told all the truth.Brant was angry and Jenny decided to leave.But failed because she overslept and when woke up found brothers and family there.Brothers and wife asked Brant to marry her but at that time Mary Hewitt reached there with a gun and told she was going to kill Jenny.At that time Rob arrived and told that he never loved her and it was her mistake to believe him and she killed herself.Rob was made Brant's partner after his marriage with Jenny and Brant's bussiness rocked with the help of Rob who was equally intelligent as the Golden Lord.
