Raj, a 24-year old simpleton from Nagpur comes to live in Mumbai to pursue his higher studies. Raj is the only son of his parents, and so after the retirement of his father, it’s his responsibility to take care of his family. Raj has taken an educational loan to pursue his professional studies, so, he is extremely committed and clear about his aim to move to Mumbai. But, Raj is personally very shy and an introvert.
 
Mr. Singh is a retired Colonel from the Indian Army who hails from Punjab. Mr. Singh has fought many battles and is well-versed with the ways of the world. Mr. Singh’s best friend, Mr. Kohli expires and leaves his daughter, Pari’s responsibility with him. Mr. Singh relocates to Mumbai (where his friend’s daughter lives) to fulfill the promise given to his friend. Col. Singh has always believed in service to mankind. This is the reason he joined the Indian Army. Col. Singh did not marry as he never found females interesting and his first love was the Army. When Col. Singh comes to Mumbai, he takes up the job of a sports teacher in the same college where Raj has joined to pursue his higher studies. 
 
Pari, is a 21 year old girl from Kumaon who has lived in Mumbai from an early age in a hostel. Presently, Pari is also pursuing her Post Graduation in English from the same college where Raj is studying. Pari is a simple, extrovert girl by nature who is career-oriented and seeks a life partner who is honest and loyal. Ever since her father expired, she became very lonely because she was very close to her father. Pari comes to know that his father’s friend his coming to Mumbai to be her guardian. 
 
Col. Singh is Raj's sports teacher and Raj finds a father-figure in him. Raj is highly impressed by the strong character of Col. Singh and often spends his free time with him (wishing he could be like him some day).
 
As part of the course curriculum, Pari needs volunteers for her viva. Raj is one of the volunteers. When Raj meets Pari regularly, she gets impressed by his simplicity. Raj falls in love with Pari immediately, seeing her boldness and beauty but he cannot express his love for her as he feels very shy and scared. 
 
One day Raj tells Col Singh about a girl he loves (but does not mention Pari’s name) and that he needs his help to win over her heart. Col Singh guides Raj at every step to win over his love. Raj is trained how to talk, speak, walk among ladies. Col Singh makes Raj bold and strong to express his true feelings to the girl he loves just as he expresses them to the Colonel. Raj’s looks are made smarter. One day Raj goes and expresses his love to Pari who has always admired Raj from day one. They confess their love for one another and the two are happy.
 
Col. Singh has become lonely with age and starts enjoying Pari’s company. Col Singh tries to attract Pari’s attention. Hence, Col Singh joins the gymnasium to get fit. Col. Singh often dreams of Pari as his life partner. Col. Singh tries to help Pari in all ways possible ways. Col Singh believes that he loves Pari.
 
One day Col Singh goes for a walk when he sees Raj and Pari in the garden as being close friends. Col Singh feels threatened by Raj and becomes rude and different in his attitude towards him. 
 
Pari’s studies are over and she gets a good job offer in Delhi. Because Pari loves Raj, she is not very keen to leave Mumbai. When Col Singh comes to know about Pari’s job offer he feels that Pari would leave him and go away. So the Colonel confesses his feelings for Pari to her. Pari is shocked to hear this.  Raj who has come to return Pari’s book to her at home, overhears Pari and the Colonel’s conversation. Raj is himself shocked. 
 
Next day, Pari informs the Colonel that he she is leaving Mumbai for Delhi making him realize that she had only found her missing father in him and his feelings for her are wrong. One the other hand, Raj also starts avoiding the Colonel in every possible way.  
 
The Colonel calls Pari and Raj to his house. Col. Singh tells Raj and Pari that he felt lonely with age and had often missed a partner. Pari’s cute and lovely interactions with Col. Singh overcame his loneliness, which he misunderstood as love for Pari. The Colonel feels ashamed and informs them that he is leaving the college forever.
 
On hearing all this, Pari and Raj forgive the Colonel whom they respect as their father-figure and would always desire to live under his guidance and shelter. The Colonel is happy to know this from Raj and Pari. Raj informs his family in Nagpur about Pari. They come down to Mumbai where Raj and Pari are engaged to be married will Raj settles down in his life.
 
Col Singh continues working in the college and rendering his services to mankind from time to time, whoever needs them.

    This is a nice story but it will be better if you would write this in Hindi. Hindi readers will appreciate the story. धन्यवाद अवि
