Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas

Book Review   by:Kayelizabeth     Original Author: James Patterson
ª

James Patterson's romance is a test of loyalties.  Anyone who has loved and lost for no apparent reason will at first join in sympathy for Kate.  How could Matt Harrison the love of her life disappear with no explanation when everything was so perfect?

When she takes delivery of a diary written by an outstanding woman, Kate Wilkinson begins to understand more of her lover's reluctance to share his life with her.  Kate's loyalties shift and so do the readers...all is not as simple as is first imagined.

Hopes and fears cascade through this novel as Kate learns more about the secret life of the man she loves but more importantly about the woman that she really is.

Although James Patterson tells an intreging tale Suzannes's Diary for Nicholas is an easy, enjoyable and entertaining read.  A Sunday afternoon sojourn into a heart breaking romance to remove the reader from the everyday.  His simplistic characters at times seem a little to good to be true but don't let that put you off an excellent way of losing yourself to a real love story for a few hours...we all need a little romance in our lives sometimes.
