In this review, we are taking a look at a historical romance called Desiring The Highlander by Michele Sinclair. It is 408 pages and costs $6.99.
Said to be a madwoman, she was kidnapped from her home in England by a very large Highlander. Ellenor Howell was unsure of exactly how to describe the unemotional man, but she was determined not to be frightened off by his inevitable scowls. The days she spent riding on horseback with him on their way to Scotland, only dampened a growing need to be in his presence. She abhorred the closeness of any man with the exception of this one…especially when his lips touched hers and heat scoured through her veins with his protective embrace…
Of the seven McTiernay brothers, Cole was said to be the fiercest. Although he showed the façade of impassiveness whenever a matter of grave importance lingered above him, he was not thwarted from what he really wanted in life. The high-spirited Englishwoman he brought home with him was a danger to his whole well being, not to mention his heart. Knowing that he would have to one day represent his beloved clan, he found that the greater challenge was found in the stare from the deep green pools of the ‘babag’s’ eyes whom always refused to let him go…
There is so much detail in this book that it might seem like a long read. This was not the case though. I found that the details added more to the effect of the novel, allowing the reader to travel to Scotland wherever the book was being read.
