Almost everyone I knew kept recommending me to read the book, I kept putting it off but finally I gave in and purchased it for the kindle. All the hype about it being 'porn for women' made me laugh. It was a very good read as were the other two in the series and I definitely found myself emerged in the story. I thought it was beautifully written and easy to loose yourself in. Also the story didn't take a log time to get into the main bit which was good. I didn't find the book erotic - it was a love story, a kinky one but a good one. I enjoyed reading the books and am now awaiting the film to see if it lives up to the books. All in all 5 stars and it is a bit of a shame that they don't have a follow up set through Christian Grey's eyes as it would be wonderful to read his take on events. I became enthralled with Christian Grey and his lifestyle and how Anastasia would cope. I enjoyed it so much I went on to read books two and three. Although very saucy in places, the story line was very interesting to go with it as well. I definitely understand why everyone was trying to get me to read it and I can't believe I didn't read it until now. A brilliant summer read!
I would definitely recommend this book to any one who wants some good summer reading!
