An intriging story of two little boys who
met in kindergarten. They were typical little boys and had lots of fun during the school years.
After high school graduation, they went to college in diffferent locations, and lost track of each other. Returning home for a visit, they accidently met at the mall. What a joyfull reunion it was. After getting caught up on their lives, Paul confessed, he really needed a job. Waldo informed him to come to Cedar City to apply at Home Depot, where he was assistant manager. Paul agreed and arrived on Monday morning with his resume. After being hired, Paul stayed at Waldo's
apartment until his own place could be found.
The two of them got along
fine and decided to go camping. It was an enjoyable weekend for the two young men.
After a few
weeks, Paul found an apartment, and moved in. They continued to work together, and had eaten together often. A few weeks passed when Paul met two
girls. The girls, Colleen and Pamela, shared an apartment in the same complex. Paul informed Waldo of his new friends and wanted Waldo to meet Pamela. Waldo was skeptical at first, but finally agreed to double date with Paul. Once Waldo met Pamela, he fell helplessly in love with her. The two guys and girls got along fine, until Pamela got discouraged and left
town abruptly. Waldo was
brokenhearted and lonely. Paul was there to console Waldo, but he was very unhappy.
Pamela came back to Cedar City, which made Waldo very happy when he took her back. The couples got along fine, but Waldo had to go out of town on business. He kept in touch with Pamela while he was gone. It was a happy reunion when he returned. Everything seemed to be okay, but then Pamela, being immature, left again without any explanation.
Again Waldo was brokenhearted and lonely. Paul convinced Waldo he was better off without Pamela. Waldo tried to pick up the pieces of his life and get on with it.
